For my first term of my final year at DMU, I created a Fruit Cart for a 5 week long brief made by Playground Games. I really enjoyed creating this small environment piece! The cart itself is around 2.1k tris and the fruit (including the baskets) is around 5.1k tris. The texture budget was 2 x 2048 texture sets (Albedo, Normal, Roughness, Metalness, Ambient Occlusion, Opacity and Emissive) which I split accordingly to achieve a consistent and efficient texel density.
I found this project a great challenge in working in a high to low poly workflow but still achieving as realistic of a finish as possible! Rendered in both UE4 and Marmoset Toolbag 3.
